Philadelphia Eagles dominate Rams 31-13, Vick looks impressive
The NFL’s “Dream Team” is now 1-0.
The Philadelphia Eagles opened their 2011 NFL season with a dominating performance against the St Louis Rams. The Eagles beat the Rams 31-13 behind an impressive performance from quarterback Michael Vick, who recently signed a six year, $100 million contract.
Vick completed 14 of 32 passes for 187 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed 10 times for 98 yards.
Eagles’ running back LeSean McCoy rushed 15 times for 122 yards and one touchdown.
St Louis’ running back Steven Jackson scored on a 47 yard touchdown run the first time he touched the ball, but left the game shortly thereafter with a quad injury.
